Manchester City have the most expensive squad in the history


According to research group CIES Football Observatory, Man City invested a record value of €853m in a transfer fee.

Man City raised total transfer fee expenditure by €242m compared to 2016. During the summer window, they have spent £215m, which make £853m expenditure in total.
Second place belongs to Paris Sent-Germaine who spent only by three million less than Man City. The signing of Neymar for £200m raised their total pool up to 850m.
The third is Manchester United. Their squad cost £784m. They increased the club value for £66m in this summer and went down from 1st place.
Champion League winners also reduced the total value of the team. Real Madrid went down by €138m and currently hold sixth position in the table.
