Loris Karius all smiles on return to Liverpool pre-season training following Champions League final nightmare

Karius was at fault for two of the Real goals but it was later revealed that he was suffering from concussion after a challenge from Sergio Ramos

Loris Karius was back at Melwood on Monday as Liverpool players returned to pre-season training.
The Reds stopper's last appearance was in the Champions League final as Liverpool were beaten by Real Madrid.

Karius was at fault for two of the Real goals but it was later revealed that he was suffering from concussion after a challenge from Sergio Ramos.
His performance has led to speculation that Liverpool will bring in a new No.1 this summer with the likes of Alisson, Nick Pope and Jan Oblak all linked.
But Karius was among a host of players to link up for pre-season training. The German was joined by new boys Fabinho and Naby Keita, who trained with their teammates for the first time.
Jurgen Klopp and his medical staff put the players through a day of physical testing with nine pre-season matches to come.
Those players involved in the World Cup have not yet returned, including Mohamed Salah, who signed a new five-year deal with Liverpool earlier in the day.
